Volatile profiles
Volatile
profiles (listing of volatiles present in a given sample that may
or may not be quantitative depending on the client's needs) are
measured by the appropriate extraction method coupled with GC/MS
analysis. Often a client may have difficulty identifying compounds
present in a sample, or may experience resolution difficulties.
We can help by employing a number of techniques including analysis
on different stationary phases, heart cutting peaks eluted from
one column and selectively sending them for separation on a second
column. We may also extract the compounds in a different manner
to optimize peak resolution.
