Russell Bazemore, Ph.D. (Chief Scientific
Officer)
Chief Scientific
Officer and Co-founder of Volatile Analysis Corporation, Russell
identifies, characterizes, and in cases of offending odors,
ameliorates a broad range of odorous compounds. Most recently
he investigated aftertastes from odorous foods, beverages and
tobacco products while employed by the Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company
(Chicago). While faculty at MS State, Russell worked with fermented
foods, seafood, seafood waste, and poultry waste. He investigated
volatiles generated from the human body, swine waste, and mushroom
compost during a Post Doctoral Fellowship at Monell Chemical
Senses Center (Philadelphia). The focus of both graduate degrees
(Ph.D. from the U. of Florida, Food Science/ analytical flavor
chemistry; M.S. from Oregon State, Food Science / sensory) was
aroma active components in citrus. |
