Volatile Characterization -
Home, Beauty, and Health

Volatile characterization (measuring volatile chemicals and their aroma contributions) data is useful for developing home and beauty products. Baseline volatile chemical profiles of products judged good or acceptable are developed that provide benchmarks for subsequent product QA screening. The steps for measuring aroma is described in our paper GC-MS/O. Products that may be tested include:

Makeup Household Cleaning Products Hair & Beauty Products Cologne & Perfume
Deodorant Clothing Kitchen Odors Lotions
Soaps Confined Animals Storage Containers for Products Packaging for Home & Beauty Products
